My name is Jon. Over the last 15 years, I have tutored and taught hundreds students of all ages these skills and more. I've taught in schools, tutoring programs, Kumon, and privately while I developed the art of tailoring lessons to individual students and simultaneously applying a proven and effective method.

My results speak for themselves. Students who work with me score an average of 170 points higher on both SAT sections, and 5 points higher on the ACT. Results like these exceed the vast majority of even 'elite' prep schools, at a fraction of both the cost and time. I've worked with students of all levels- those struggling to keep up in school to those looking for just a few extra points in order to push them to the highest echelons.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
• The student and the teacher together create the teaching. There is an overarching method that can be applied in tailored ways.
• Practicing tests exactly as they will be taken in critical. Practice doesn't make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect.
• Overcoming anxiety is a matter of exposure rather than avoidance.

My sessions are done online through a free whiteboard, graphing software, and face-to-face video. Through screen sharing, students will see everything on my computer, just like an actual classroom. Online tutoring results are the same, if not better, than in-person lessons!

My time is limited, however. As a full-time working data scientist, I only have so much availability. It is also important to me that I limit the number of students I have at any one time so as to provide top service.
